I’m Emma June Grosskopf, but that doesn’t fit as nicely into the Weather Girls’ 1982 classic song title. But, creativity prevails.

I decided in Summer 2019, after I graduated from college, that in order to keep my writing muscles toned, tan, fit, and ready, that I’d start a blog.

A place where I could muse about this, that, and the other. Culture. Music. Movies. Dating. Beauty. Fashion.

You name it, I’m an expert in it.

(Well, not really, but isn’t that the beauty of the Internet? Everyone who has a platform is an expert?)

I’m calling this a “lifestyle” blog, but that’s only because there isn’t another term broad enough to encompass everything I want to share my thoughts about.

What can I say? NOT having a shtick IS a shtick. I stand by that opinion!

I’m a journalist, a Scorpio, and a resident Tall Girl. I live in a small town in West Virginia, and I shocked everyone when I moved here. How very un-Carrie Bradshaw of me.

The big topic that I write about, probably more than anything else, is self love. We live in a society where every day there’s a new challenge when it comes to loving ourselves and how we’re made, but by sharing some insights with my journey, I hope I can inspire you guys.

Or at least make you giggle.

That’s my goal with everything I write: share my thoughts, share my experiences, my reflections, and my neuroses. If you feel like you have something valuable to say, just say it out. That’s what I’m doing here, and, let me just say, I hope you left your umbrellas at home.
